The charming village of Stein is only ten minutes walk away: here you will find an excellent seafood restaurant which features locally caught fresh oysters, prawns, crabs, etc. There is also a local inn with a lot of character. Stein has an active harbour, if you like small boats you'll like Stein.

Close to the village is 'Skyeskyns' which is a sheepskin workshop & showroom, where hand combed fleeces are produced using traditional methods. The area is rich in local history, beautiful scenery and seascapes; many local sights and activities are close by. Among these are horse-riding, walking, cycling, climbing, boat trips and many, many more.
